As fans file into Memorial Stadium, four United States Air Force T-38 Talon Supersonic Jet Trainers perform a low level fly-over to salute the United States Veterans and in recognition of the 75th anniversary of Veteran's Day celebrated on November 11, 2005. Two of the pilots, Captain Todd Riddle and Captain Clint Guenther are UNL alumni. The other pilots are Captain Nick Rutgers, Captain Laurel Lee and alternate pilot Captain Michael Koenig.
